I decided to do performance art as I was frustrated with aesthetic, and wanted to break free from it and engage more with the viewer.

My performance was me standing in a plinth looking out at the viewer. I decided to not look away at the gaze. Male response and female response where often different from each other.

How Much – 2006 – Goldsmiths University – Performance and installation.

I had been collecting my receipts for many years. In this performance I tried to separate necessity, luxury and convenience.

I did a video performance of me smiling for 60 seconds. I had the video on a loop.
